The PS-SR225S is a seismic restraint strip of the PanelSafe system: it is fixed directly to the substrate with a screw and acts as a safety hold, restraining the panel so it doesn't fall if the clip fixing fails from vibration, impact or seismic movement.
It is especially useful on ceiling and large panels, where a fall would be more dangerous. It is used alongside the Fastmount clips (Standard or other ranges). Not anti-theft.
