Fastmount Standard Range Clips | La Tienda Naval

Standard Range

If you are refitting your boat interior and want a panel system you can remove without tools, the Fastmount Standard range is the perfect starting point. It is the most versatile clip in the catalogue and the one we install most often on recreational vessels — from 10-metre sailboats to 30-metre motor yachts. It works with all panel types: marine plywood, moisture-resistant MDF, decorative laminates and of course our okoume boards.

  • Cabin bulkhead linings in okoume or teak-veneered panels
  • Removable ceiling panels with access to wiring and air ducts
  • Saloon side panels with decorative finishes
  • Inspection hatches in galley cabinetry
  • Interior linings on charter boats (easy maintenance)

A practical tip: combine Standard clips with our 4 or 6 mm okoume marine plywood for a lightweight, professional result. The clip screws into the structure and the panel simply snaps into place — no glue, no visible screws, and you can remove the panel in seconds to access installations behind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I install these myself or do I need a professional?

Installation is straightforward if you have a drill and screwdriver. The female clip fixes to the structure (bulkhead, batten, profile) and the male to the panel. They snap together with a satisfying click. Many boat owners do it themselves over a weekend.

Which Standard clip do I need for a cabin ceiling?

For ceilings we recommend the PC-01 or PC-02 set depending on panel weight. If your ceiling is thin okoume (4 mm), the PC-01 is sufficient. For heavier panels or teak-veneered boards, step up to the PC-02 which has greater retention force.

Are they compatible with okoume marine plywood?

Absolutely. It is our best-selling combination. The male clip screws directly into the okoume board with the fixings included in the set. You just need the panel to be at least 9 mm thick for the standard version.
