Fastmount – Standard Range (PC): concealed mounting clips for walls and ceilings

Fixing solutions that stay concealed for wall and ceiling panels, with self-drilling, screw-fixed and adhesivefixing options. Ideal when the frame-to-panel gap (standoff) does not need to be minimal. Male and female clips are interchangeable within the range.

Load values and installation details may vary depending on the clip and the substrate. Always check the technical data sheet of each reference before specifying.

Key advantages

  • Finish invisible with removable panels for maintenance.
  • Several fixing methods: self-tapping, screw or adhesive.
  • Interchangeability of clips within the Standard range.
  • Quick, repeatable installation, compatible with timber, MDF, plywood and composites.
  • Compatible with acoustic treatment solutions (slotted/micro-perforated panels).

Typical applications

  • Wall panels and ceilings removable.
  • Acoustic panels in offices, hotels and retail.
  • Panels prefabricated and seat backs.

How to choose the right clip

  1. Substrate of the panel and the frame (timber, MDF, metal, etc.).
  2. Fixing method preferred: self-tapping, screw or adhesive.
  3. Panel weight and shear requirements (ceilings / tall panels).
  4. Accessibility and frequency of removal.

Tip: for heavy ceilings or higher shear, consider the higher-performance males within the Standard range.

    • Screw-fixed: PC-SVMX (high shear).
    • Adhesive: PC-SM2 / PC-SM2H / PC-SM1AC (epoxy on SuperGroove base).
  4. Check: verify engagement and nominal pull-out per clip before series production.

Frequently asked questions

Can I combine different male and female clips?

Yes, they are interchangeable within the Standard Range so the solution can be tailored to each project.

Which option is best for heavy ceilings or higher shear?

The higher-performance models (e.g. VMX or SVMX) offer greater security in pull-out and shear.

Can I bond the clip to the panel?

Yes. The Surface Mount clips (SM2, SM2H, SM1AC) are bonded with epoxy thanks to the SuperGroove base. Respect curing times and surface preparation.
